Evergreen Lodge Yosemite offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, parking, elevator, pool, restaurant, spa, WiFi/Internet, laundry, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, 24/7 front desk, business center, spa tub, meeting rooms, and an electric car charging station.
Finding the lodge was a bit of a challenge, don't rely on GPS. Once arrived, we were so impressed with the staff. Our cabin was nice, it is an old lodge, so it looked its age but was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinners in the restaurant. Again super friendly staff. The food was excellent to good, depending. Breakfast was great. The pool was closed for the winter, but a fabulous salt water hot tub eased away sore muscles. Gorgeous location and views.it takes about one hour to get to the valley. Lots of sight seeing stops on the way. The rec staff gave us some excellent suggestions for hikes etc, which we appreciated as we are both 80. In all, this is a pwrfect place to stay if you like down to earth casual comfort in a serene, wooded mountain environment.
We are proud to be stewards of this special property and of the Yosemite area, and we have established a variety of environmental goals that guide how we operate the Evergreen. Our priorities include: Local Sourcing – purchasing from local, organic farms, working with local artisans, hiring local staff and landscaping with native plants Energy Conservation – utilizing low flow water fixtures, gray water recycling, solar heating and high efficiency lighting Waste Reduction – implementing a grass roots recycling program and using eco-friendly cleaning products and compostable cups/packaging Environmental Education – educating guests, staff and the community about Yosemite environmental issues and conservation We have made significant investments in support of our environmental goals, including developing the county’s first commercial gray water system, which allows us to reuse over one million gallons of shower and laundry water each year for landscape irrigation.
Served 7:00am – 10:30am daily. Get your day started with our scrumptious full-service breakfast and a freshly brewed cup of local roaster Milone Coffee & Tea’s coffee available in the main dining room. We’ve got everything from Fresh Buttermilk Pancakes to Steelhead Trout Gravlax. If you’re in more of a rush, you can just pop into our General Store for latte’s, freshly made breakfast items and trail supplies.
