Just behind the famous (and often photographed) red door on Rittenhouse Square, discover a lavishly reimagined hideaway in the heart of Philadelphia. Historic, intimate and luxuriously unique, 1715 on Rittenhouse reveals an all-new take on city sophistication, recalling an era when details made all the difference. The hotel is just steps from historic Rittenhouse Square, one of the 5 original squares laid out by city founder, William Penn.The staff is exceptionally friend and helpful in guiding you to the historic sites and informing you about nearby restaurants. Philadelphia is wonderful to visit in that you can walk to almost anything you might want to do, which is particularly desirable in a city that has tiny narrow streets making driving somewhat difficult. In the mornings, coffee and tea service is available with fresh fruit and pastries. In the evenings, enjoy the onsite bar, The Franklin Mortage and Investment Company, which is a craft cocktail bar.
