We stayed at the Scarborough Inn for almost a week and the staff was extremely helpful. Anytime we needed anything they responded quickly and professionally. We also were very close the the lost colony which I have always heard about and so we went to see it. I highly recommend the Scarborough Inn because they are affordable, clean and near many of the Outer Banks many attractions.

We stayed here previously in room 5. This time we were in room 9. The bed in room five more comfortable, the room was larger and the bathroom kitchenette was set up better. The only big complaints about room 9 is the bid was extremely uncomfortable, we purchased more pillows to be able to prop up to watch the TV and the last night we had extremely loud neighbors, the coffee maker on the microwave doesn’t reach the outlet and, the bed was thrown over each day and not made. However, for the price the rooms are very clean and we had fresh towels and coffee replaced each day.

We had a very pleasant two night stay at the Scarborough Inn. The room was very clean an large and looked to be recently remodeling including upgraded bathroom and kitchen appliances. The antique like furniture didn't fit the room, but it was comfortable and accommodating. Only negative as the cleaning staff did not clean out the coffee pot.
