We spent three nights here and enjoyed the cozy and personal feel of staying in this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, the staff were terrific, the location was perfect to explore Portland’s Pearl District. Particularly appreciated was the brewed coffee always available, the five 6 pm wine hour (with music on Friday and Saturday). The finishes in the bathroom were lovely, marble and a cute little makeup area in the bathroom. Comfy bed, good lighting and sitting options as well as a nice common lounge area on the main floor. It’s great to be in a hotel that doesn’t feel like part of a chain or corporate enterprise. The employees seem to like working here and that makes me feel good about staying here.
