I hardly ever give reviews. But I felt inclined to give this place a review. We had a flight cancellation in Denver and I was looking for a last minute room for my tired family. Booked this hotel. Got the reservation and decided to call the hotel directly to make sure that I was officially booked. The man who answered the phone was not helpful and hung up on me because I had a 7 digit confirmation number, that was sent to me and not a 6 digit number that he was asking for. I called back five times with no answer. We landed in Denver and it was 12:30 AM. I'm with tired crying kids and elderly parents. We waited for the shuttle because we booked this place knowing that a shuttle would take us to our room. We saw other hotel shuttles come and go at that time. In fact one offered to give us a ride because of our tired situation. I called the front desk, yet again, with no answer. Finally a nice woman called me back and left me a voicemail message saying that their shuttle stopped at 11 PM. No where was this communicated in on their page or in the reservation. Got to the hotel to be greeted with a total hotel renovation happening on the first level. No elevators working. We had heavy bags and elderly people who could not walk up stairs. The nice lady gave us special access up to the third floor. Next morning her shift had ended and we had to carry heavy bags and help my elderly parents walk downstairs. Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from the High Plain International Hotel in Denver, CO.

Decent breakfast. It was very nice to have a shuttle in the snow when my flight was cancelled! Hotel was clean and only took about 10 min. to get there on the shuttle.
