We've stayed at the Ocean Gateway a few times this month ( and we'll be there a few times next month) The staff in this place are above top notch! They're ALWAYS friendly and helpful when my wife and I stay here! As for some of the other reviews go the place could use an update but it's ALWAYS clean and comfortable! Great place to stay for a fair price! If the owners decide to do some updates, I know a GREAT Licensed contractor.. ..me! See you guys tomorrow night! Sincerely, Robert and Lori Rose.

The hotel was pretty dirty and generally unpleasant. The entire facility smelled of cigarette smoke. Despite booking a non smoking room, the room smelled bad and the hallways wreaked. The smoking rooms were literally right next door to non smoking rooms. The WiFi service was essentially useless as I was unable to load a single web page via WiFi after waiting literally 20 mins for yahoo home page to no avail. This place had not a single saving factor. Even the "continental breakfast" was bad. Offering nothing beyond stale pastries and brown water in lieu of "coffee".
