We rolled in minutes before 7:00pm to the nicest surprise! Free happy hour and dinner! The rooms were very clean and comfy, everyone was friendly and there was even a free hot breakfast on our way out! Almost too good to be true! Will definitely watch for Drury hotels on our future trips!

The best part of the stay was when we arrived at 6:00pm, we found out that there was food and beverages available from 5:00-7:00pm. Saved us having to go out to eat somewhere. Hotel was comfortable and not too busy.

When we come to visit the Drury Inn in Mt. Vernon, IL it is like coming home. We’ve stayed there many times on our way to the East Coast to see family. Some staff members recognize us and greet us like family. Everything is always clean and comfortable. Food is always good.

We have always found Drury Inns to be of high value. The hotel in Mount Vernon is no exception! It appears newer than some and featured the kickback time and breakfasts that Drury is known for. The staff was friendly and everything clean. We will continue to look for Drury Inns.

Pets are not allowed in the public gathering areas of the hotel, including the breakfast area and pool. Pets are not to be left unattended for more than 30 minutes, and each guest must assume liability for damage of property or other guest complaints. There is a limit of two pets per room. Dogs, for persons with disabilities, are accepted and permitted access to any area frequented by their owners. No state or local laws concerning dogs apply to guide dogs. Guest will be asked to read and sign our "Pet Owner Letter" at check in. Rooms with pets will be charged a daily cleaning fee of $40 per room plus tax. Service animals are welcome free of charge.
