This is a great moderatly priced hotel and value for groups. It is conveniently located just outside of the city center and near the airport. There is a variety of shopping and restaurants that are a short drive away. The lobby was undergoing some minor renovations, but there was plenty of seating in the breakfast area. A full hot breakfast buffet is offered daily included in the rate. A small boardroom is adjacent to the front desk. There is a spacious business center,a large exercise room and outdoor swimming pool. Guest rooms are very spacious and some larger suites are available for an additional charge. Microwave and refrigerator or standard. Rooms are nicely appointed with new linens and granite counter tops in the bathroom. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer are also standard. This hotel has excellent TripAdvisor reviews as well. Shuttle service is available.

As I found myself stranded in Charlotte, NC at the airport, I called around town desperately looking for a place to lay my head down for the three hours I was going to have before the next flight. I got my reservation and headed to the hotel. The desk clerk was the nicest person I have met in a long time. She found the closest room available. She went above and beyond her call of duty to call me three hours later to make sure I didn't miss my flight. She also made sure I got at least a muffin to eat before I left. (I had to leave before the full breakfast was scheduled to open.) I have never been so grateful for someone to extend such a warm demeanor and a helping hand during my distress. Thank you!

Our Wyndham Hotel is centrally located just off I-77 at Tyvola Rd. We are 6 miles from Uptown Charlotte, Southpark, Carowinds, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), and nearby Office Parks such as Lake Pointe, Water Ridge, Coliseum Centre, and ThExchange.Our amenities include; complimentary breakfast buffet, oversized guest rooms with complimentary wired and wireless high-speed internet, expanded fitness center, guest laundry, business center, sundry shop with beer/wine, and room service by area restaurants.
