Would like to stay at this hotel when we’re in Sioux Falls because the rooms are nice and because of the lounge, where we can get a couple cocktails and food without going out. We’re not told about the construction until we checked in. This was disappointing, things of that nature should be told to the customer when making reservations.
In town for a funeral, we were not aware that there were two Hilton Garden Inn hotels within a mile of each other. 10 minutes after realizing we booked the wrong location, we called to change the reservation to the correct hotel. The management would not help us and did NOT allow us to cancel. We stayed at the other Hilton where our party was staying. We are beyond shocked that the hotel kept our money, allowing us to pay full price at another Hilton down the street. For the first time, we will now purposely avoid Hilton Hotels.
