"Pleasantly surprised"

Not a place I would normally choose to stay based on the outside appearance. We had to leave an Airbnb cabin that did not meet our expectations and had to find something last minute and some friends told us they had stayed here before. Once we got into our room we were pleasantly surprised. It is an absolutely no frills kinda place but our room was cleaner than a lot of higher end places we have stayed. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful. Not to mention, it is located almost next door to our favorite Dillard restaurant The Cupboard.

The motel is an older one. The lady who cleans does a great job. The continental breakfast was sweet rolls and cereal. They provided coffee. There was one bottle of juice. The lady ahead of me got it. There was no one around to assist. There are two tables in the breakfast/check in area. Waste of space. Need brighter lights in sink area that is hidden by the bed. Would have been nice to have had a sink in the bathroom area. Killed two roaches in room. Very disappointed. Bed did sleep good.
