It was a very clean and friendly service hotel.
My hotel room was perfect for staying overnight and being able to shower and go back to my mom’s place at Lantern Hill while I helped her recuperate after being in the hospital. Kevin was wonderful in checking me in as well as the two women who were working when I had to stay an extra day. Thank you all so much for helping me have such a restful, quiet and comfortable place to have respite for myself!
I brought my granddaughters to the hotel for a sleepover. I had gone to the HUB Murray Hill a few months ago and it was very nice. It is very close to my daughter's house in New Providence so this hotel was a good option. The price had increased for the hotel services but I know everything has gone up so I paid almost $296.00 for one night. I checked in with my granddaughters and went to my room.I noticed the television wasn't working.I took my granddaughters back downstairs to get a snack and said to the staff member how can I get the television to work. She told me we are having problems and will try to have it settled by later tonight or tomorrow.I went back to the room with my granddaughters who were disappointed as well. It was about 6:15 at this point. Some channels came back about 8:00 but then in the middle of a movie the kids were watching the television went off again. The next morning as I was checking out, the television still wasn't fixed. A different staff member offered no compensation for the inconvenience just sorry. I guess I will need to go to another hotel next time. I enjoyed this hotel though because of the closeness to my daughter's house.
