Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel

After our dream Alaskan adventure/ cruise culminated in my wife and I both getting sick and dropped off at the Vancouver airport from the ship at 10:00a.m. And our flight not until 11:00p.m. Both feeling absolutely miserable and each toting two suitcases and a backpack. We find out that we cannot check bags until 6:00p.m. The Vancouver airport was swamped with people and only floor seating available, which is not good under normal circumstances and even worse when you’re ill, we had to do something. On a whim, I called the Fairmont (airport) and asked 1.) if any rooms were available? And 2.) could we possibly check in immediately. Yes and Yes! The staff was absolutely fantastic, polite and professional. The room was great and without having a pretty amazing view of the airport, you would never know you were at one. The room service was excellent with good food and fast delivery. Even though we did not spend the night, it was a pleasant experience that made our layover tolerable. I highly recommend the Fairmont for any travelers through the Vancouver area. You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is very well located, very well designed and very well decorated. The staff was very well informed, very efficient, very helpful and very pleasant. The restaurant was very pleasant and had good food. We only ate at the “informal” dining area but it was very pleasant. Vancouver is very convenient and the transportation there is efficient and reasonably priced, although taxi service is considerably more expensive than the commuter train. In summary, if we return to Vancouver and are flying I am confident we will stay at Fairfield.

This is my third stay at the Fairmont Vancouver and its always outstanding. The service is incredible and all hotel team members are always helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked.

Great rom, excellent room service and front desk assistance. We were given a great room with a view of the take off runway. The room service was fast and efficient. The room itself was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.

We stayed two years ago on our last trip to Canada, it was such a lovely stay we booked again for this trip.I would suggest that the management has changed, there was a half dead plant in the room the bedside tables had not been cleaned under the glass. The plane noise was also louder, not a problem on our last stay as it was on the other side. After flushing the toilet it trickled for some time. I did alert the front desk but asked them to leave it until after our stay.

The lady who helped me check in was very kind and helpful.
