Upon check in at 6pm I was assigned a room that house keeping was still actively in and cleaning. Door was wide open so as me and my family walked in house keeping looked just as surprised as we did. We felt as if we were in the way of house keeping because we had to tip toe around the small space and wait to use the room in private to allow her room to clean. However we needed to utilize the bathroom and get changed quickly so that we could get elsewhere so it was an inconvenience! Lastly, when I booked the room I indicated the exact number of guest that would be staying in the room, housekeeping also seen us so I was confused as to why she only supplied the room with towels for two guest instead of 4. When I asked for more towels when she finished vacuuming and cleaning the room she appeared to be offended as if I were bothering her. The hotel is nice but, I found this check in experience to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Check in is anytime after 3pm and with us arriving at 6pm I would assume we would have been assigned a room that had already been cleaned and prepared for four guest, three hours after check in.
Room was clean and comfortable. They had a machine that dispensed coffee, hot chocolate…that was nice especially because we arrived very late and it was freezing outside. Breakfast was great!
