At check in, we noticed some discrepancies with our online booking—specifically, we had reserved a king bed but were given a room with two queens. When I asked about it, Eddie at the front desk seemed a bit dismissive, which made the situation more frustrating. I now realize the booking was made through a third party site rather than directly through IHG, which may have caused the issue. We've had past experiences with Eddie which were very positive; his initial response when questioned, even surprised my wife and prompted a comment from her to me about Eddie's tone and delivery. Additionally, the elevator was extremely slow throughout our stay and uncomfortably warm—more like a sauna than an elevator. It definitely impacted our overall comfort.
The front desk lady who checked us in was very sweet and personable. I wish I could remember her name by she was there when we checked in on Sat around 2:30.

For starter, this was a business trip and one of my colleagues was staying at this hotel. She told me the price was $150. Well, I had to pay $245 for the same room size. I questioned the front desk worker and explained I called the hotel direct and asked why my cost was double my colleagues price. The desk clerk told me a 3rd party company must have intercepted my call, so that's the reason my cost was so much more expensive. I asked the desk clerk if she would give me a lower price and was told absolutely not. I was placed in a room right next to the elevator, so I heard this all night. My overall experience was terrible!!!!

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the pillows and bed were very comfortable. Even though we were across from the elevator, very little noise came through to our room. Earlier we stayed at a hotel that is a competitor to Holday Inn Express. Our experience at this Holiday In. Far surpassed.
