Very dissapointed in the hotel in general. Not seeing any reference on the Marriot's website I discover that the TownePlace suites in Farmindale NY appears to be a semi welfare hotel. Watching families moving in with trolleys full of food makes me wonder about long stays. The Marriot denies that. The room was poorly maintained and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The hallway smelled of grade school pine sole and puke. The rate was way too high for a nights stay. Definitely not recommend.
Front desk personnel was EXCELLENT, especially Ashley at check in on Thursday afternoon. The other two front desk personnel were excellent as well.
