We came for my husband’s medical procedure at Fairview Hospital. Got stuck due to blizzard. So great to have nice rooms and restaurants. Wish we could have gotten our senior rate for the last two nights though. Since our daughter reserved for those nights they couldn’t change it. So more expensive than expected.
Very clean and well decorated hotel.
I like this new Hilton variety with its creative decor, uniting U of MN sports history and state character. It’s also surrounded by the Minnesota East Bank university with metro and campus light rail available out front. The room was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is not a place for foodies, but offers pub style dishes. Two coffee shops, Starbucks and Caribou Coffee are steps away. I’d return again.
We love everything about this hotel. Close to the athletic facilities, center of campus, great bar, fun to see all the students in the foyer area. Bonus to have Starbucks and Chic Fil A on the grounds and hit up the river walk for one of the prettiest walks anywhere (path on the Mississippi, east side to St. Thomas). Will be back!
