I spent almost $200 for one person for one night in an iffy neighborhood, in a filthy room that blackened the bottoms of my feet when I walked into the bathroom. The ice machine didn't work, the manager couldn't tell me where the soda machine was, the iron was missing, the hair dryer was snapped open in the back and dangerous, the shampoo in a packet I had to open with my teeth wasn't enough to wash my bangs. But other than that, there was old dog feces in the stairwell.
