Bask Hotel at Big Rock Landing

Wonderful place to stay. Waterfront view is beautiful. Dawn at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to stay there again.

I have never been disappointed staying at the Bask. The rooms are very spacious and clean. You're right in the heart of Morehead within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

I had a wonderful stay at the Bask hotel! It was within walking distance of my class and some great restaurants, as well as the waterfront. I want to give the front desk lady, Dawn, a shout out. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazingly big! It was basically a one room apartment. I just felt right at home there. I could’ve stayed there indefinitely! The customized breakfast delivered to your door is a wonderful perk! I have already told my husband the next time we are in Morehead City, we must stay at the Bask. It was a wonderful experience.

The room and hotel were very nice. The suite had an air conditioner that could service a small house. It was a full sized ac/heat exchanger unit, located in the bedroom. Yes, in the bedroom. Everytime it came on, well it was like sleeping next to a busy runway. Like laying down right next to it. Dead quiet then waytooloud machine noise, then back to dead quiet. A great place to stay if you are an incredible sleeper, or just completely intoxicated. But you are not one of those two you'll need to choose excessively noisy cool air or quiet warm humid air for bedtime. That does not measure up to the price they charge to stay there.

This was our second stay at Bask. Our first trip absolutely perfect. This stay, however, there was construction/remodeling. The construction was not in the same portion of the hotel, but was visible from our balcony. There was not an issue with the noise, but with bugs. I’m sure it stemmed from the construction and the exposure to the outside. I do not have a bug phobia, but I do not want them in my living space, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. This will probably be our last stay here, which is unfortunate because the location is views are spectacular!

Great place to stay and wonderful staff. Close to everything we wanted. We were very happy and pleased to be here. Thank you.
