Over all a nice place to stay. Convenient to the historical area.
We only stayed one night for an offsite wedding, but we truly wish the wedding had been held here—it’s such a beautiful and charming location. We were able to check in early and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived. After the wedding, we visited the bar for drinks and a bite to eat. The bartender was warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The next morning, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was plentiful with lots of great options to choose from. Our room was clean, spacious and situated just above the restaurant, offering a peaceful and picturesque view. The entire experience was lovely—comfortable, convenient and filled with kind people. I’d gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!
We stayed at Smithfield Station for a wedding. My son and daughter in law had their rehearsal dinner there the night before and the family stayed there the night of the wedding. The rooms were beautiful, clean, service was wonderful, the restaurant is fantastic. Excellent all the way around.
This was a great little getaway. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The room was beautiful cottage overlooking the water, was clean, had everything we needed. Great experience.

Our group from California stayed at Smithfield Station for our grandson's wedding. The hotel is charming and our room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the river and marina. The unexpected complimentary breakfast was delicious and included bacon, eggs and pancakes as well as the usual "continental breakfast" items. Having coffee and tea available in the lobby as well as in our room was a bonus. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are efficient and attentive (a special shout out to Maria in Housekeeping) and the restaurant/bar offered a variety of tasty items from appetizers to desserts. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
