I stay here every year for a weekend in October because the rooms are great, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is convenient.
Our experience was flawless. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist. The hotel is modern and spotless. We will definitely stay here again.
in my previous travels this year I stayed in a La Quinta in Goodlesville tenn. and Tallahasse Florida. they were clean.That is my number one priority. the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great but the room was just not up to par. thank you for your concern, janet bochat.

From check in until checking out, the entire staff was exceptionally phenomenal! Especially Ms. Yvonne! What a tremendous blessing to me, as were you all! Thank you!
For safety reasons, I feel you should place safety strips or a bath mat in the tub. A grab bar would also be helpful for us older folks.
The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed nor the floors swept or mopped for quite some time. Hair stuck to the bathroom floor from previous occupants and when I got a wet tissue to pick it up, the tissue was black from the dirty floor. No hot water due the the gas line explosion in town four days earlier but the price of the room didn’t reject you couldn’t take a shower or bath. It would have been nice if I was told that earlier in the day when I called to book the room and I would have stayed in Memphis. Not typically what I get from a LaQuinta.
Facility has deteriorated over the last few years. Not as clean; had to wait too long to register even with two people on front desk (one chatting up a new client; the “just finishing” a job!); breakfast was mediocre (even the waffle batter was near empty, couldn’t make a whole waffle). Really disappointing to watch such a great place to stay go downhill.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby was welcoming and the room was clean.

I go from Baton Rouge to Nashville every October and I break the trip into two legs, always stopping at LaQuinta in Tupelo. Great, clean accommodations, friendly, helpful staff. ADA room is perfectly laid out.
