It was very nice. The room was clean and the staff was Great.
I have stayed at the LA Quita in Lawton before and had the same problem. The A/C unit was so noisy with wierd sounds that you will have a hard time sleeping. This time was no different except this unit would make a loud banging noise about the time you would fall asleep. It was a bad night!
Front desk staff was friendly. The room itself needed help. There was a faint smell of urine in the room. There were two of us, but only one washcloth. Inquiry at the front desk for at least one more washcloth, but they were out of washcloths. The toilet seat was Willy Nelly and needed tightening.
A nice place to stay. It's clean, friendly staff and a safe place to rest.
Room was spacious. Location was convenient for our needs. Room could have been a little cleaner. Surfaces were dusty. Both faucets dripped. Fitness room equipment did not work. Breakfast was subpar. Eggs only one day out of four. All other days was biscuits and gravy which I did not try. Pool water was somewhat cloudy. This was our second time staying here and it was better last time (2 years ago).
Check in time was three PM. We arrived at 3:20 for a two night stay. We did not get into our room until 4:30. They had no rooms cleaned and ready. The room was comfortable, but you could tell it was hastily cleaned. Later that evening my wife spoke to the clerk and told him that the United States flag on their flagpole was just hanging on by one grommet. The clerk told her that there was nothing he do about it. As a Veteran I felt that was very disrespectful. As we were departing we noticed that Old Glory was properly attached and flying beautifully.
Room was excellent. Price was different than told. Pot was being smoked.
The hotel, premises and room were nice, clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.
