Marriott Indianapolis East

The hotel is in the midst of updating, but it was nice to see that it was finally happening. My room was nice and comfortable. The lobby is looking better. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay.

I wouldn't stay there again, the day shift staff was rude and didn't fully answer questions when asked. The shower curtain and tissue box holder in my room had mud on them. Dry way dust was everywhere. I took pictures if more questions.

Front desk clerk very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rest of the staff was not. There was an extended delay getting into our room due to the desk clerk not being able to get a hold of the cleaning crew to check that our room was ready. We did not have enough towels in our room and when I called to have more sent to the room, they never came. Very disappointing for a Marriot property charging $300 a night to stay.

Really nice hotel staff! I enjoyed the updated room, it was quiet, comfortable, and felt brand new. Once the remodeling project is complete, I’d give this hotel a full five out of five. Thank you for the experience. Great value overall!

The whole place is under reconstruction. The sheets, covers and pillows all have stains. The pool area is not great. Just overall a No.

although the hotel was under repair, the customer service was outstanding and the new amenities thus far are very good looking.

Beds were comfortable.

We've stayed at this Marriott numerous times when in town. Wensite did not mention it was being remolded. I'm also disabled and walking all the way from the back entrance to where a temperory check in was a long walk. There were several tables set up with computers and such. Nothing was indicating it was the check in counter. When I asked one of the ladies seemed very annoyed. The gentlemen helped us. I thought even though it was a temporary location it could have looked more professional instead of fold up tables set up with no sign indicating it was check in. Especially since they had signs stating Marriott check in this way. A lot of construction debris around the handicap entrqnce. Also no carts at. Entrance either. Wascharged an additional $20 pet fee and not sure why?.

The staff is phenomenal. The renovated rooms are perfect. The hotel bar and restaurant are outstanding.

Our overall stay was good. Staff was super friendly at the front desk. We were initially placed in a room on outdated side of building and there was a super loud continuous noise above our room, may be due to construction but it was loud. Our smoke detector was also covered with painters tape (probably from a previous stay). We requested to change rooms and the staff was more than accommodating which we appreciated. We were moved to the updated side of the hotel and everything was perfect. Really appreciate the staff for making things right and being so accommodating! Would definitely return to this hotel.
