The cool thing about McMenamins Crystal Hotel is its unique and eclectic decor, featuring artwork and murals throughout the property that showcase the vibrant culture of Portland.
A very fine hotel. I enjoyed my stay and the room I was assigned. I also enjoyed soaking in the salt water pool and the meals at Hal's Cafe were delicious. We also had a good time at Al's Den one night. Strongly recommend it and will come again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you.
Love these places. Staff invariably friendly and either they are ALL good actors, or their employer treats them well enough that it’s sincere. Mattresses not my favorite. But worth the trade off. I’ll take friendly and homey.

Parking Wondering where to park during a visit to the hotel or café? There are a few options, all within a few blocks: Self-Parking Street parking. There are several metered spots around the neighborhood – be sure to put the correct amount of cash on your meter ticket and leave it inside your curbside window. Covered parking garage at the Brewery Blocks. There are two entrances – one on 12th Ave. and one on 13th Ave., both between NW Couch and Davis Sts; no in and out access. Two public parking lots (SW 13th and Washington St.). No in and out access. We encourage guests to remove all valuables from their vehicle.

Delighted as ever with my stay! I believe this is the fourth time I've stayed at this hotel. I love the decor the ambience the location. The restaurant is wonderful and the soaking tub is amazing.
Fun stay, great music playing at Al’s, then soaking pool and delicious breakfast in the am. Love all the art work there too!
Small room, friendly staff cleanliness was our main concern just felt dirty, surfaces were sticky pillows had a not good smell we wrapped them with our clothes.
