"Very Frustrated"

I called this hotel directly to make a reservation. My plans changed and I wanted to cancel the reservation. I was told the hotel couldn’t cancel the reservation because I made it through a third party. I have no idea how I got to a third party, but I assume the reservation person I spoke with was working with the third party in some way. I now have reward from The HotelPlanner Team for a stay I couldn’t use or cancel.
