My husband and I traveled to Michigan to visit family for the holidays and decided to get a room for the last night of our stay. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was perfect. Everyone working there was friendly and smiling. It was nice to refresh before hour long drive home.
The hotel was clean. Staff was very helpful. Did not appreciate the surprise $25.00 fee. Wall full of snacks and necessities possibly needed that can't be touched or you forfeit the $25.00 fee. Also I still have not been reimbursed for this fee yet. Absolutely no vending machines, which forces guest to use items and forfeit fee. Felt like I was being hustled. There were no towels at the pool. Had to stand there dripping wet in the lobby together towels. We had three guests in our room but was issued only two breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was shut down at 9. If I had known all of this I would not have stayed there. Also loads of construction workers staying there and drinking and hovering around entrance at all hours.
We reserved a king size bed room but received two queens; the toilet did not flush properly; the toilet paper holder was bent; we were disappointed and not told ahead that breakfast was not free. The staff was very pleasant. We will not be be back.
I checked into this hotel for one night and wish I could stay longer. Great place, nice rooms and large bathroom which is great. A wonderful place to enjoy.
