The cool thing about Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is its stunning location within a state park, offering guests easy access to Chattahoochee National Forest and the Appalachian National Scenic Trailhead - South Terminus.
You can't improve on a setting that's on top of a mountain looking down one of the best views I've had from my room in all my travels. The building is a great mix of modern and a traditional park lodge. Decent restaurant/bar. Overall, excellent!
The hotel is wonderful. All rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The hotel also has a reasonably priced restaurant with good food. The hotel is right in the state park and there are nice hikes to beautiful and impressive Amicolola Falls right from the hotel. It is also a great place to stay to access Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.
