Hampton Inn on McPherson had a wonderful staff. So friendly and helpful.
I would have preferred and had planned to send something to the local management. But since I got this email I will respond Wednesday night at 8 pm I attempted to book a king bed online. Upon completing every section it said this room and rate are sold out. I did it again and did a king suite. Again room and rate were sold out. So I called. I called and the person that took my reservation said all those rooms were sold out and only double Queens were left. Fine. That's okay I say continue I booked the room for two nights And ay the end she said 430 dollars. Online the king suite was 137 so I assume the queen was 120 ish. I said whoa holy smokes that can not be right. She very angrily snapped at me and saidyep last room the rates go up. I told her that seemed like Bull$%it She sent confirmation by text to my phone. And before she hung up she called me a and king P and $$y. I was so angry I wanted to snap. I was checking in an hour Irina was working front desk. I know it was her voice. They asked for my phone number and credit card for incidental. I felt like they doing something shady. I did not say a word to either of them. I knew if I found out it was one of them I would snap and make a scene. I own a business. I have 400 employees. I know how miserable the labor market it's. But to hear this over the phone someone needs to know I booked the room around 8.30 pm Wednesday night. I called the one 888 listed in the mcphersin website Hilton listing. I dont know who that funnels too but if you review the tapes you will hear. Ahe needs fired immediately My stay was fine and typical of a Hilton. Room clean and comfortable. I wanted to call the number after I checked in but after a long day I knew I would lose my cool first. Not a good representation.
Room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good and service was excellent.
I did not like all the noise Sunday night late.
