I lived in Rutland for 30 years and came back to visit. It's not the best community with homeless and drug issues. There are only two places to stay that don't have homeless derelicts supported by the state. The Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn. I have stayed at the Hampton many times but because they were full, they suggested this place. This place is an A+. All the way around better in my opinion and it was almost $100 a night less.
Clean staff is helpful when you ask.
All the employees at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially Kim at Front Desk and the Breakfast Room Supervisor. The daily breakfast was varied and plentiful. The location was very convenient for travel and area restaurant access. Our room was spacious and setup securely.
A very, very good breakfast is offered. The room was EXCELLENT, clean and comfy, excellent shower too! Will make other Comfort Inns a first pick after this.

We have plenty of truck and bus parking. The parking lot is well lit at night. There is no parking fee at hotel.

Front receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Overall the hotel was very dated, could hear every door/ person walking in and out and conversations. Good restaurant/ chain food close by.
I just popped in for a night while traveling, but it was an easy pleasant evening. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy.
Accessible from the interstate. Great steak house nearby.
Found the deodorants too strong.
