"Upscale, classy, older hotel gem."

My flight home was cancelled and I needed to stay an extra night in St. Louis. I found a gem in the Crowne Plaza. It is close to airport, provides free shuttle service 24/7, has one of the most beautiful interiors with a indoor pool for the kiddies to enjoy even when there is two feet of snow outside. The glass rooftop provides a botanical gardens feel to the atrium which includes a lazy river meandering through the open air lobby and had an artist installation of blown glass flowers floating in the water. It reminded me of the Bellagio! The main lobby is quite large and includes a couple of restaurants, a separate bar and lounge area, as well as the pool with poolside seating and tables. The room I was provided had a balcony with a view of the atrium! It had the basic amenities, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean and plenty of towels were provided. The staff were extremely helpful, from front desk to shuttle driver. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

I love coffe in the room and my keurig did not work properly' I did tell a staff member about it the third day of my stay, she said it would be replaced but it wasn't; other than that my wife and I had a very good experience.
