Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the cramped room was not typical of most Marriott properties I've visited. Refrigerator hidden under bathroom vanity shelf cabinet. I checked with front desk and was told where it (and microwave) was since I can't remember the last time I stayed at a hotel without both. Back in room I found the mini fridge but no microwave. So I had to get dressed to go back to front desk to use lobby one to heat my pizza slice! Cramming a small sofa in room was not the best use of space. Also, the bed (which was uncomfortable) was placed to left of narrow entryway and it was necessary to watch TV sideways. Barely room enough to open closet doors. Never an issue with cleanliness at Marriott and same could be said here. But for same rate cost I would choose a different room type with hotel grade mattress, boxspring and pillows. Definitely time to replace these!

We were very disappointed with the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore BWI. The pillows were very flat, no support. The toilet was very low to the floor. It was not the normal height. The furniture was arranged badly. The bed should have been where the couch was located. From the angle it was, it was hard to see the entire TV screen because that big wardrobe cabinet was sticking out in the way. The refrigerator is not normally in the bathroom area where this one is located. The one bar of soap fell apart every time we picked it up. It was in tiny pieces. The couch was uncomfortable. Out in the hallway, the wallpaper was held up by masking tape. There was no complimentary breakfast of any sort. At least donuts/muffins and coffee would be nice. No pool either indoor or out. It looked like mold growing on the outside patio railing. We thought Marriott had much higher standards. We would never stay there again.
The room was very clean, the front staff was very friendly.
