The Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Grand Rapids offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, parking, gym, pool, restaurant, spa, WiFi/Internet, laundry, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, 24/7 front desk, kitchen, business center, spa tub, meeting rooms, and beach access.
The staff was friendly an answered questions. They were great at explaining and friendly faces to see after being on the road for three hours. 10/10 recommend staying here again!
The hotel is well situated and is joined by an enclosed skyway that connects to various restaurants, the J.W. Marriot and the Amway Hilton. This is convenient if you are attending a conference in the one of the other hotels but cannot get a room in one of those hotels. The restaurant at the hotel had very good service. The food was mediocre but when you are hungry it is easy to get to and the service made it nice. The room was clean and great to work in. As all Courtyards, the room is set up to do work. I carry a double monitor and there was plenty of desk space for my laptop and additional monitor. The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful. They even have a person that they know who will take you to the airport. With Uber/Lyft, they are usually fine but it is "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get inside." Forrest Gump. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
I needed help three times and all different individuals each time all very efficient and helpful.
Everyone was veery helpful and friendly. Room was great and facilities were fantastic.
