Very nice place for a boutique y type hotel. very clean,quaint, old establishment off the beaten reach near GU. Very nice staff and completely accommodating.
Our brief stay at State Plaza Hotel was excellent in all ways. The staff was exceedingly polite, friendly and helpful. Our room, a king suite, was terrific—clean and spacious. And the location was perfect, central to all we did. We will definitely return.
State Plaza Hotel is in a favorable location for visiting the western end of the National Mall and the Kennedy Center. While it’s not a new property, it’s clean and comfortable, has a nice cafe and a lower rate than many chain hotels in the Foggy Bottom area. Easy access to many restaurants around GWU.
Room was adequate with only one sink and bathroom was small Personnel were all excellent.
Beautiful, spacious, clean room and efficient service.
