Irish Cottage Inn & Suites

We recently stayed at Irish Cottage Inn and Suites in Galena. We chose this hotel because of the wonderful reviews, location and proximity to the restaurant/bar with live music on Thursday evening of our stay. We were treated very well, the staff was courteous, engaging and accommodating.

It was very relaxing! Perfect location for visiting downtown if one wanted to. Will return.

There was no entrance/exit near us. Would have liked it better if we did not have to walk so far. The tub water could not drain. I had to hold the plug up for it to drain. Most everything else was very nice. We would stay here again.

We were very happy with our room's cleanliness and atmosphere. This hotel is quaint with lots of amenities. They also offer a van for rides to town so that you don't have to worry about parking.

Toilet too low. Comforter too hot. Beds good. TV good. $25 charge for breakfast bad.

We stayed at the Irish Inn and Suites as we got together with family and had a wonderful time! Great room with a fantastic breakfast and afternoon teatime. Loved the Irish vibe!

While I was staying at the hotel I purchased a nicer room to surprise my boyfriend since we had this big day planned. When I got to the hotel everyone was nice and it was beautiful. However the rooms jacuzzi tub ended up having black mold and the jets didn’t work. I was very disappointed since that was the reason I booked that room.

Met two couples from two different states. Rendezvous at your location. Back room by library was perfect! Nothing but fun!

We met up with friends to tour Galena! The Irish Cottage Inn was wonderful! The staff were super friendly and the accommodations were very comfortable! We utilized the hot tub and pool every morning. Very well maintained. The breakfast was good with great hot choices. The Library and overall aesthetics of the Inn are charming. Unlike many hotels, coffee and water are available all day and they even offer “tea time” with little finger sandwiches! We would highly recommend the Irish Cottage Inn!

We were only able to stay one night at the Inn. However in my short time there, I got the pride of ownership feeling. The attention to detail in the premises and the recent remodel of our room/ bathroom spoke volumes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the Irish pub attached was a bonus! Thank You!

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming. The afternoon tea was enjoyable.
