We booked a non smoking and pet free room which was a non refundable. However when we got to the hotel, the person at front desk insisted I had booked a smoking room. I showed him my reservation confirmation request but he ignored it. He showed me the room and the minute we walked into the room, it smelled like pot/marijuana. There were also a bunch of men outside at the corner of the property who were smoking pot. This is a motel type of property. We told the person that we could not stay there due to health and safety. He was rude, would not offer a refund. I also called Days Inn customer service and explained the situation. She said we would get our refund. But she failed to say she needed the hotel's approval. The hot breakfast also does jot have eggs or sausages. It's simply cereal, toast and bagels. The lobby and the rooms are also run down, old and dirty. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
