Clean spacious rooms.
After driving by the Garland Hotel for years, I had the opportunity to stay there with my son and my husband. The customer service was amazing, from the happy to help disposition of the people working there, to the pride of one employee who walked us around talking up the many cool features. Just to name a few, the hotel gets sustainable energy from solar panels and a windmill! The employee also talked about the bees on the roof and expressed excitement about the possibility of honey from the hive this year. She even shared that there is a natural gas well that heats the water in the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel so much, we even stopped for the night on our way home the next night!
We would recommend this hotel. It was a good value. The room was HUGE and the TV was much too small for the room. That was the only negative.
Shower head was too high. I’am 4’11” and my husband is 5’10”. He was able to get it down but couldn’t put it back.
I will definitely stay at the Garland again. A very nice, modern and comfortable hotel.
