The hotel was nice, the Night Auditor, Justin was not. A group of friends and I were staying here and were in the bar celebrating my birthday. It was close to midnight, so we had just started cutting the cake. Justin walks in the bar, claps his hands and says “you all have to leave”. In my mind, I probably would’ve gone with something like: “hey guys, we’re closing up, we’d appreciate it if you could take the party to the lobby or to your room”. That may have gone over much better than clapping your hands and saying: “you have to leave”. I understand it was late, we weren’t bothering anyone and the 8 other people in the bar didn’t seem to mind us eating cake. But I get it. We aren’t all merry and bright around the holidays. In conclusion; I feel that Justin the Night Auditor needs some help in the customer service side of his job.
