I just had my graduation so I wanted to just come back to my room and just rest me and my fiancé this my big day! Why does a big roach come climbing over the sheets. I had to go down stairs out my sleep 1:20 in the am to be relocated to have to kill another one and the room I was in way at the top 14 floor because they didn’t have anymore clean !wasn’t clean we had to kill one there and to top it we ask for a later checkout due to the inconvenience! The lady said 12:30 ! Why was we awaking at 9:30. Total stay not good didn’t get to rest so I paid to switch room all night.
Sadly the Doubletree is in need of major upgrades. My room showed its age. The sink was cracked, rug was old and the lighting was not adequate. Lastly, the shower water output was weak. Other than that, the hotel staff was SUPER NICE! And the location near the capital was awesome. Overall, one can look over the negatives because of the staff and location!
Poor service, maid service was not good at all. We have been staying at this hotel for 15 years and have always enjoyed it but this will be the last time we stay there. Totally under staffed. It’s a shame. So sorry that this has happened to such a great hotel.
