I had an occasion to stay at your hotel checkin 5/1/, checkout 5/2. for the NYACCE conference. First, the receptionist said I did not make the reservation through your hotel but Expedia. I call the Hotel personally in April to make this reservation, not Expedia. The room was terrible. There was no clock, no shower cap, no lotion, only a small bar of soap. The floor and shower were also not clean. The bedding did not look fresh and clean. I was awake every two hours thinking someone was in my room. There was also a door to another room, I believe. The food at the conference was average, nothing to brag about. At checkout, the reception asked if I wanted a paper or email receipt. She then said "you booked your room through Expedia." Again, I told her I did not but the hotel direction. She was very curt when she said I did. I thought she was rude and did not respond and I left the hotel. At this point, I will NEVER book another room at your hotel. The hotel needs to train your staff on how to speak and engage with paying customers. A this point I will never stay at your hotel again. I am very disappointed to say the least. You can contact me if you wish. If not, I certainly understand. Lorienda Smith I did nothing wrong.
The pillows were good, room good, water temp was good.
The staff was excellent. If we had a need, it was met immediately. I also want to single out Claudio, the person in charge of the cafe, for special accolades. As the first person we would see in the morning, he was always in great spirits, smiling and made our morning coffee pick up, really fun. He also had only kind words of admiration about Kathy, the woman who served us in the dining room. And Kathy lived up to all the praise that Claudio sent her way. She was terrific! Our experience was very good!
Stayed many times and always have a good experience. The bar/restaurant is convenient and good.
Rooms are appointed beautifully!
Check in was easy using my phone and reservation number. Every staff member was nice and helpful. My room was magnificent and so clean It was one of the best hotel experiences I've had.
