Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is a LEED certified property. We have an established green committee dedicated to maintaining our environmentally conscious standards. We have implemented a hotel-wide recycling program as well as a system to monitor utilities system (Gas/Water/Electricity). Our hotel has participated in Clean The World, a non-profit organization that collects recycled soap and shampoo products discarded by the hospitality industry and donates them to impoverished people around the world. Through the distribution and donation of these products, Clean The World helps to prevent millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses every year. Below are some of the conservation methods implemented at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville: • Replace all guestrooms 3.5gpm showerheads with 2.5gpm. • Change all guestrooms faucets aerators from 2.0gpm to 1.0gpm. • Installed electronic photocells on all exterior lighting. • Activated programmable segment of all guestrooms digital thermostats. • Installed aqua-stats in cooling towers (designed to cycle cooling fan) • Implement rain bird sensors on both water features and irrigation system. • Implemented automatic lighting controls in all maids closet, mechanical rooms and offices. • Utilized energy management system to control run time of all large meeting rooms A/C systems. • Installed electronic timers on all exhaust fans. • Change building chilled water operating range from 42 degrees in the summer to 45 degrees and 47 degrees in the winter. • Installed motion sensors/LED lights in boardrooms. • Installed variable frequency drives on main kitchen exhaust fans. • Changed all guestrooms light bulbs from 26 watts to 13 watts • Reduced public area and back of house lighting by 378,000 watts • Installed plastic curtain strips in all walk-in coolers/freezers. • Installed motion sensors in all walk-in coolers/freezers. • Implement the use of 3M merv 8 filters on all air-handling units. • Hotel’s “Green Efforts” are part of all new employee orientation • Purchasing food and other good in bulk to reduce packaging and transportation needs • Generating electronic reports to reduce paper use • All copies are double sided to reduce paper consumption • Locally grown and organic foods are used in our Restaurant • Environmentally friendly cleaning products are used throughout the property

Excellent hotel, great food, went to the NFL game, stadium within walking distance.
The foyer is very nice. Cozy. As soon as I got off the elevator to my room, there was a very unpleasant smell. The smell did not dissipate and was even present in the room, albeit slightly lighter. The carpets are old and dated. The furnace/ac airflow vent was hanging loosely and the curtains would not even close all the way. The bed was very hard and not comfortable. The Staff at the front desk were helpful and kind.
I want to personally take out the time to show my appreciation for one of the hotel employees. The weekend of June 6th-8th I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville Florida. Mr. Tyrone was such a joy. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, he gave us great recommendations for the city. He got our bags. He treated us like royalty. It’s people like Mr. Tyrone that will keep the hotel's business going for years to come. When I come back I will stay at this establishment because of him.
I have been coming here for years and I have never had any problems until this weekend which was minor but could have been major to some. please have washcloths available for your residents! Thank You Hyatt!

A woman at the front desk Savanna was very helpful when I had questions.
Hotel was nice overall but I thought it was very cheap that you can not even get a complimentary bottle of water unless you are an elite member, plus you have to pay for parking. Also 4pm check in is very late for me, ive been all over the world and check in is usually at 3, plus I never got a text that my room was ready I had to call.

One of the most cleanest places you can stay.
I really enjoyed the property, dining and location for my recent trip. It's very well maintained and within walking distance to EverBank Stadium and many local establishments for visiting fans.
Staying here was such a luxury especially during our stressful time at Mayo. To return to a lovely, luxurious hotel room and eat a nice dinner at the end of a long day was truly a soul saver. I particularly want to thank Chuck Cobb who went out of his way to make everything run smoothly and efficiently. Outstanding customer service.
