The staff gave excellent service. Had a great breakfast that included waffles you made on a waffle iron. Eggs and bacon etc. And included continental style with juice and coffee. Slept really well in a really nice king size bed. Thank you for great service!
I think you’re in the process of working on this hotel. They are doing a good job. I noticed areas that need improvement but nothing that is a dealbreaker. Items that could be improved are: The television is impossible to find a news channel, it takes you to some god awful fireplace and when you try to use the guide, it takes you to channel 4500 something and you can never seem to find just the local news, standard cable or anything you actually want to search through. I can’t tell if they just got the cheapest package and don’t want you to know it or if this is just something that has been overlooked. This was very irritating and makes you want to start finding other irritating things. The rooms need touchups. Someone needs to go room to room and touch up the paint properly where they speckled over where the old towel rack was attached. Little chipped paint next to the shower. The frame around the mirror, you can see a reflection where the paint has chipped off. Those little things that you do not see in corporate hotels, but you do see in these private franchise hotels. Breakfast again was adequate, but you couldn’t get a carton of milk to drink. They have a picture so you can pour some milk over your cereal. There were some eggs, but no other hot breakfast outside of waffles. They lay out slices of bread as a selection and it just looks dry. They just do enough to say they serve a breakfast. The bananas were green and they provide as fruit the cheapest granny Smith that are really made for cooking and not eating for breakfast. The pool is closed and those small I think that they could really make that look nice if they put their mind to it. Like I said, clean, adequate and friendly, but just needs a little more help. I hope this helps for improvements.
