A Fine room, lovely accommodation!
Weather was bad and we were tired of driving and tried to book a room in Sturbridge, but I guess the leaf peepers had booked most of the rooms in the area and our choices were further limited by refusing to pay $75 pet fee at the Hampton. In any case we were not sure what to expect until we pulled in the driveway and saw a charming place to stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We got a Large Caesar Salad and the savory Meatloaf entree included two two inch thick slabs of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans more that we could eat! The Bakery shop was so tempting to try one of each! We will stay here again on our way to and from Florida to Maine trips.
This is our second trip staying at the Publick House Inn. It is a beautiful place, very clean with reasonably priced, excellent tavern food. After many hours of driving, it was the perfect place to rest.

It was our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a great time and our hats off to the friendly and accommodating staff. We had a slight issue but Michelle was quick to rectify it. She was terrific! We had dinner in the bar area and the food was outstanding. Thank you for making our 30th anniversary memorable.
The room was nice and clean. The balcony was a huge plus. The main building is beautiful, loved the complementary pastries with coffee in the morning. Will visit again.
We came north to see friends and visit Tree House Brewery. The accommodations and food available met our needs.

We were there for my nieces wedding. The event, the location, the staff, the rooms, the food, was all top notch. If the opportunity arises I will be back.
The staff at the Publik House was first rate from check in to the waitstaff at the restaurant and the tavern. The food was exceptional. Morning pastries were a nice treat. We were in the lodge not in the main building. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. It was close to the things we wanted to do. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. It was built in the 1700’s!
Good rooms at reasonable rate and allow dogs.
I found the room very nice and loved the bathroom! Food in the restaurants was also very good. I will stay again.
