I had emergency surgery yesterday in Washington State. So I booked a flight home to Galveston Texas to recoup. After three canceled flights, one canceled hotel room, miles of running around to different gates only to be met with canceled, finally deciding to book a hotel room, transportation to and from the airport, getting on the wrong transport to only go back to the airport. When your guy showed up I was needless to say stewing. He calmed me down quickly with his stories and laughter. When I walked in the door of the Embassy Suites my heart melted and it was like I was home even though I hadn’t made it home yet. The room and view from the 8th floor is spectacular and I’m ready to relax only to have to go back at it tomorrow to finally make it home. I only wish I had some cash to give the driver because he made my day.
The atrium was beautiful. Loved the plants.
The staff is very polite and attentive.
