We were pleasantly surprised by the high level of excellence at the Intercontinental Hotel on The Wharf. Rooms are large and clean, restaurant is well run and yummy food and the staff was pleasant, always smiling and ready to make your experience the best! We’ll be back as there’s so much more to see and do in Wash DC.

was booked unintentionally and have been unable to cancel within 30 minutes of the room being booked. have gone back and forth with the hotel as well as priceline the booking service and both parties pointed the finger of not being able to cancel the room at each other.
Such a great property, the staff is amazing! They truly go out of their way to create a home away from home and take care of their guests. The lobby is a lovely gathering place for guests, their families and friends. We have been staying here since it opened and it's always a pleasure to be here!
There is a short white woman at the front desk who speaks with such a heavy accent that I cannot understand her — impossible to understand her on the phone and very, very hard to understand her even in person. She should not be allowed to interface with guests.
