We had a good time. The area was nice, very walkable and convinent to the Peoples Bank Arena.
Really helpful staff, near downtown free shuttle bus quiet, great breakfast.
Older hotel yet very comfortable. Rooms were clean and support staff of front desk and room services were helpful and attentive. Slightly dated bathrooms yet clean and serviceable. Comfortable stay, fair prices, nice people!

I landed up in Hartford overnight unexpectedly as my sister was suddenly ill. I booked at the last moment. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the hospital and that suited me perfectly. I got the last available room, a king. I was happy with my stay. The room had a bathtub as well as a shower and as I had had a long day, a bath was welcome. The room was quiet and I slept well. The complimentary breakfast was far better than I expected. There was a choice of a couple of dry cereals, instant oatmeal, scrambled eggs, apples, bagels you could toast yourself, various buns and muffins, waffles, etc. What I liked best, I think, was the friendliness of all the staff I encountered. The nice man at reception took care of my bag after I checked out until I left for the bus station hours later. The hotel is right around the corner from the bus and train station.
Your customer service is very poor. Your pricing structure is also fraud. It was much more expensive than first advertised.

Front desk and maid service friendly and helpful. Property needs work. Very old, there was a burn hole in sheets. No security anyone can enter the property.
We stayed here to be close to the XL Center. Hotel was clean and quiet ( though there is a train station nearby. Bathroom was recently re done. Parked in the underground garage, which is a little old but is heated and out of the December weather.
Pleasant staff and room. Great breakfast.
