My review is more about the poor experience with Hotelplanner which the hotel told me is Expedia. First of all the hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Express which I wasn't told. The person on the phone when I booked the reservation for Hotelplanner told me that the hotel only had one room left, not true. Almost no one at the hotel. I could hear chickens making noise in the background on the call which was really weird. I thought I had call IHG's line directly which after hearing the chickens I questioned the person and asked if this was IHG's call line. The person told me that they are working with IHG. Had she told me it was Expedia/Hotelplanner I would have hung up. The whole call experience was not good. Had I realized this hotel was no longer a Holiday Inn Express I wouldn't have stayed there but when I was told it was the last room I thought I better book it. Just beware when you call a number thinking it's directly linked to hotel you are trying to stay at, it may not be. I've learned my lesson.
