I checked in and had time to go for a walk. I saw the mall across the street and thought I would walk around inside the mall for a while. I knew which entrance I had come in and went out that same entrance, but then I did something wrong. I got lost. I put Holiday Inn Exress in my phone and it kept showing me getting farther and farther away from the hotel. Finally it said "return to the route, return to the route". So I turned around and was heading back to the mall, but I was starting to run out of daylight. I called the hotel and Taylor answered the phone. I explained to her that I was lost and she asked me what was around me (Texas Road House. ). She knew where I was and guided me back to the hotel safely. She stayed on the phone w/me until I could see the red light! (I had gone a whole mile out of the way) Taylor told me to turn right at the light and I did and I could see the hotel. Then David (who checked me in) had actually come outside to make sure I got back safely. These two employees really really helped me and I think they both deserve GREAT BIG RAISES! Thanks again you guys, you are the BEST!
Arrived and was greeted with very pleasant outgoing host, Dave. Our end our weekend was met with a smile, a helping hand and an enthusiastic host. Dave is a gem.
Staff was exceptional.
