The accommodations were great and the hotel manager was friendly and helpful!
One of the bad things was the "blackout" power shades. These would be good except they would not go down all the way. Consequently the outdoor lighting will illuminate the entire room. This does not make for a good night's sleep. The hotel ought to replace these shades or supply night masks to each customer.
Very good stay. Judy in the mornings doing the breakfast bar was very pleasant and friendly.
My wife and I booked the HIE in Canyon, Texas so that I could staff a table at an event in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Good hearty breakfast and clean room. We had one with walk-in shower. Friendly, knowledgeable desk clerk.
