Very clean, breakfast was delicious with many choices. River walk in the back and the pool looks great.
The room had a nice view of the Dan river. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable! The breakfast bar had great options (real bacon on Saturday). We traveled from Monroe, NC to visit the Caesar's casino. The rooms are so expensive on the weekends so the Holiday Inn Express was the best choice and less than 10 minutes away! I would highly recommend this stay in Danville, VA.
It is immaculate and well maintained. I have stayed at hotels around the world and would rate this one at the top in terms of cleanliness, esthetics, customer service and a very good breakfast buffet and at a very reasonable price.

I stopped here for one night with my dog, who was involved in a competition the next day. The staff was welcoming and it was a nice place for dog owners with a sizable grassy area for a quick outing and an inviting two-three mile long river walk behind the hotel overlooking the Dan River. The rooms were well appointed and there was a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning with plenty of tasty options. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels and they seem to be a reliably good place for a stop over.
Hotel lobby and rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and amenities were relatively close by. Great stay!
