I have been in hotel rooms this year from DC to Florida, a cruise, etc. Paid from $500 a night down to $200 a night. This has been the best room I have stayed in. An amazing coffee machine in the lobby grinds coffee beans before brewing. Never seen that before. Outstanding. Great job Holiday Inn.👏
The check in process is terrible to say the least. took over 45 min. shifting from one person to another and finally getting cut off. After two tries to get back to someone the first person that had obtained my information had not saved any of it so it was start over. Then got cut off so the process begins all over again. Then you cannot give your credit card info to the person that has taken all the info so I get sent to another party and get cut off again. after this I get cut off again. And the list goes on. After calling a friend in Fort Pierre I get a local number and at least get a brief registration. On arrival found the check in process on a table in the hall, understandable due to construction. The attendant was 'very personable' and helped out with the remaining check in. The room was okay ,bathroom had black hairs in various areas and dirt along the bath tub floor area. By this time we were ready for bed tired of the whole process. Breakfast the next morning was sad eggs were barely warm along with biscuits and gray so we settled for cold cereal. The construction process was not an issue as we understand that that has to be done and was really no problem. I don't believe that we will ever be back to give them a chance to redeem themselves, it's not worth the hassle.
