Had a pleasant overnight stay at Holiday Express in Lexington, NE. Staff was accommodating and pleasant. Room was clean with necessary items.
The hotel is older and needs some repairs. After walking on the carpets my shoes stuck to the hard floors. I used my app to make my reservation but somehow a third party picked it up and the final cost was way more than advertised. Plus I was charged an additional charge for cancellation insurance. Now I guest ion the use of the Holiday Inn app.
The manager, Gale I think was his name, knew we weren't feeling well and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.
We liked it.
We have a linen re-use program for the guests to choose weather or not they want their linens changed. Our Manager's reception uses glass plates, silverware and mugs for beer. We have LED bulbs through out the majority of the hotel.
We offer a complimentary breakfast that consists of a rotation of scrambled eggs or cheese egg omelets, egg white omelets, bacon, or sausage, and turkey sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, We have pancakes, oatmeal, assorted breads and cereals, cinnamon rolls, bagels, English muffins, and gluten free bagels. We also have assorted bakery style muffins and assorted fruits. For beverages we have coffee, assorted teas, hot cocoa, and three different types of juices.
We have a large parking lot that will accommodate buses and trucks. All parking is outside but close to the hotel. We also have two electric car charging stations.

Facilities need updated and cleaning staff needs to up their game. When you have to pay $400 for two nights it should be clean!
The breakfast was wonderful. (Not so in all Holiday Inns!) The staff was very frendly and helpful.
